At King’s College, learning extends far beyond the classroom. We cultivate a vibrant and dynamic campus culture through a diverse calendar of internal and external events that blend education, innovation, leadership, and celebration. These events create valuable opportunities for students to grow intellectually, connect with communities, and develop the confidence to lead in any setting.
Our academic and innovation-focused events provide platforms for real-world engagement. The Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum, organized by our Center for Research and Development (CERAD), brings together entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and policymakers to explore the future of business and innovation in Nepal. Students also take center stage at global competitions like the Hult Prize, where they develop solutions to pressing global challenges with mentorship from industry experts.
For our tech community, events like Semi Colon, a student-led hackathon, encourage innovation and teamwork. These events empower students to turn bold ideas into working prototypes, all while building technical skills and professional networks.
We also host a variety of workshops, training sessions, and speaker series in partnership with local and international organizations. These learning experiences are designed to be practical and engaging, covering areas like design thinking, financial literacy, sustainability, leadership, and digital tools.
Beyond academics, life at King’s is enriched by social and cultural gatherings. Signature events like King’s Night—an electrifying evening of music, dance, and celebration—foster community spirit and student expression. Other highlights include Club Day, Alumni Homecoming, and our Commencement Ceremonies, which mark major milestones with joy and pride.
We also collaborate with national organizations to host landmark events. Notably, we co-organize MahaKumbha, Nepal’s official qualifying tournament for the Debate World Championships, in partnership with Debate Network Nepal. These collaborations give our students a platform to compete, represent Nepal globally, and sharpen their critical thinking and communication skills.
At King’s College, every event is a stepping stone—toward discovery, connection, and transformation.
