Recreational Trip to Pokhara
Organized by Event and Excursion Club
The three-day Pokhara Trip, from June 23rd to June 25th, was a recreational trip for the students of King's College. With its stunning landscapes, serene lakes, and majestic mountains, Pokhara provided the perfect setting for the students to unwind and find solace away from the citys chaos.
3 Days of Exploration:
Day 1: Exploring the City of Lakes
The trip started with great enthusiasm as the participants gathered at the college campus early in the morning. A bus awaited the excited students, ready to embark on an
unforgettable journey. After the drive, the group arrived in Pokhara and checked into a cozy lakeside hotel. The first day was dedicated to exploring the city's attractions, such as Devi’s Fall, and other famous spots in the city.
Day 2: Adventure, Nature, and Cultural Experience
The second day offered an adrenaline rush as after breakfast, the group engaged in thrilling adventure activities. Some students opted for paragliding, soaring high above the lush green valleys and enjoying breathtaking views of the Annapurna range while others chose to go on a mesmerizing boat ride on Phewa Lake and experience go-cart. The second day ended with memories filled with fun and it is something
that the students will cherish forever. The evening was reserved for a cultural show that showcased traditional dances, music, and performances by local artists which some students decided to join. It was a fitting farewell to the city that had offered them so much joy and serenity.
Day 3: Farewell
On the last day, we all had breakfast at the hotel in the early morning and said goodbye to Pokhara as we headed back to Kathmandu
