Changa Chet 2023 - Sabai ko Lagi Dashain

On the 14th of October, the Event and Excursion club executed a heartwarming event called "Changa Chet" outside of our college premises. This remarkable event was an incredible success, achieving our dual goal of reviving cultural traditions and giving back to the community by supporting a local old-age home.
"Changa Chet" actually transcended the expectations of kite-flying competition, blossoming into an annual celebration deeply intertwined with the spirit of Dashain. This year's "Changa Chet" brought forth a vibrant display of colorful kites, each symbolizing freedom, aspiration, and the triumph of light over darkness. It became evident that "Changa Chet" extended beyond the kites themselves. It became a beautiful tapestry of youngsters coming together to fly kites, and bonding while sharing stories beneath the sky.
This event served as a reminder that amidst a world constantly advancing with innovation and progress, of the enduring value in pausing, reflecting, and cherishing our cultural roots. The true essence of Dashain and events like "Changa Chet" lies in understanding and celebrating the simple, timeless joys that perpetually unite communities.
