Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC) at King’s College is receiving applications for the 3rd cohort of Social Business Challenge: an incubation program, from aspiring student entrepreneurs of all the colleges and institutions. The program intends to encourage the youth to come up with innovative business ideas that could be shaped into ventures through incubation, facilitation and financial support. The incubation program will run for 15 weeks wherein workshops will be held on dedicated topics and the attendees will be mentored throughout and after the program. The program will be incubating a total of 15 ventures. No fees or charge will be taken from the students for the program. And, the winning venture will receive a seed fund of $1500.
In the previous two cohorts, 17 ventures were shaped and 7 ventures were seed funded internally while the rest of the ventures received external funds and boosted their businesses. The students who are interested to be a part of the program can contact Mr. Nanda Kishor Mandal (email@example.com), a faculty member at King’s College who looks after the incubation program.
