On March 3 and 4 2019, our team at Empowerment Academy conducted a workshop for 140 participants of the “Smart Urban Technology Challenge 2018” on the basic principles and process of design thinking, MVP, and idea pitching.
SUTC 2018 is an initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) to bring out entrepreneurial spirit within Nepalese community to identify and solve problems related to urban development. KMC will eventually select sustainable and modern-technology-based solutions that will address the current/future problems related to urban development of the city.
We feel honored to have been given this opportunity to help the participants better understand their target users, question their beliefs and assumptions they held about the problem/solution/value, and eventually refine their ideas/solutions.
