Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between King’s College and Kathmandu Living Labs 

We are honored to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between King’s College and Kathmandu Living Labs with a motive to foster regional community centric entrepreneurial collaborations among two prominent institutions in the country. King’s College envisions promoting entrepreneurial spirit through progressive education in the country and believes in ‘shaking things up’, trying new ideas, and challenging the stereotypical norms by transforming the society through entrepreneurship. On the other hand, Kathmandu Living Labs is a pioneer civic-tech enterprise that caters with data and technology solutions to businesses, governments, development partners, and civil society and believes in the harnessing power of open-source technology in order to improve the lives of citizens. 
The MoU was formally signed between Nama Raj Budhathoki (Chairperson – Kathmandu Living Labs) and Narottam Aryal, (President – King’s College) on behalf of their respective organizations. In the process, Narottam Aryal mentioned that he is glad to partner with Kathmandu Living Labs as it is instrumental to connect entrepreneurship with technology firmly believing that the partnership would allow to leverage map data to foster innovation in communities and provide a thriving environment for entrepreneurial ventures. In like manner, Nama Raj Budhathoki mentioned that he is excited to formalize the collaboration with an institution like King’s that is leading in entrepreneurship and innovation and looks forward to the impactful and groundbreaking ventures the teams will collectively drive.
