Our featured alumnus for the month, Kiran Mainali, is a certified agricultural engineer and a big time Sadhguru fanatic who has visiting Isha Foundation in his bucket list. Living his life by the ‘One percentage rule’, he tries to better himself by at least one percent every day from what he was yesterday and that has turned him into a firm believer of the notion – ‘Upgradation is the only constant’ in life. Also, his hard work and beliefs in equal parts has helped him become a gold medal recipient from a reputed Indian Government University. Usually, the career choices we make urge us to take different roads to reach the destination – for which Kiran was all prepared to leave for the United States with a motive to continue with his engineering career. But sometimes, life has other plans for us. Hence, he decided to stay back and thought of adding another feather in his cap with an additional degree in management stream. For the purpose, he joined King’s College to purse his MBA in Agribusiness where he also aided with the design of the course itself.
