Subuna Basnet is a central committee leader in Bibeksheel Sajha Party. She ran the Federal and Provincial election, 2017 for Federal Parliament of Nepal from kathmandu District, Electoral Area No-4. Though she was the only female candidate among 21 other candidates from the same electoral area, she secured third largest vote. Subuna has been working in the sector of Entrepreneurship Development and Employment Generation through various initiatives since past many years. Currently, she is leading the Department of Entrepreneurship and Employment in the party. She is also the founder of Youth For Blood, Kathmandu Chapter, a philanthropic organization helping to connect needy patients to the blood doners. She is an MBA in Entrepreneurship from King’s College Kathmandu batch of 2014
