In another first, King’s College, Nepal organized the third edition of its annual series of conferences, focused on entrepreneurship in Nepal under the theme of Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth in Federal Nepal. Held between November 22 and 24, 2018 at Dhangadhi, Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum included lively discussions involving contemporary entrepreneurship issues in the country. With more than 200 people attending, this conference received support from Dhangadi Sub-metropolitan City.
Successful entrepreneurs from various countries, local industrialists, academics, politicians and other eminent personalities discussed about recent developments in entrepreneurship in their respective local communities and at global level at large. King’s College also showcased its research works with concerned stakeholders, students, partners and the general public.
Global wave for organized dialogues and academic research has been encouraging in recent years. As a result, universities and governments around the world have been bringing together politicians, policy makers, researchers, banks and financial institutions (BFIs), and business startups to help create a sustainable entrepreneurship climate. Nepal, a part and parcel of the highly globalised world, has become a hotbed of worldwide evidence-based debates and discussions on entrepreneurship. The interest among various stakeholders has reached a substantial momentum now. This annual conference is the King’s College endeavour to keep this discussion alive and nurture it further.
