Letters from Kathmandu #6: A Song

May 2021
Dear family and friends,
I can’t write a letter today, because I only have the full use of one eye.  My other one has a “large abrasion” caused by a viral infection.  It’s getting better due to some good work by an eye doctor.
But as I sat in my room this afternoon, with pupils dilated and curtains drawn, I decided to write a song.  You don’t need eyes to do that.  It’s called “Kathmandu” (with the “h,” as opposed to Bob Seger’s “Katmandu”) and it’s supposed to be funny.
I hope you like it,
Craig
