Launch and 1st edition of Impact Talk

With the aim of promoting a discourse of “transparent, impact-driven, innovative, and self-sustaining nonprofitsthat nurture local innovations through participatory collaborations”, Nonprofit Impact Forum at King’s College launched its bi-monthly talk series – the Impact Talk.

Sharing her experiences with nonprofit organizations advocating for health care access and equity in Malaysia and other Asian countries, Dato Aliyah Karen, CEO of Medicare Charitable Foundation (Malaysia) spoke on the “Role of Nonprofit Organizations in Public Health” for the June session. More than 80 participants including professionals and students from 20 colleges across disciplines like social work, public health, nonprofit management, and business administration attended the talk.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Nepal Center for Philanthropy and Development (NCPD).
