This morning, King’s Club organized prize and certificate distribution ceremony to commemorate participants’ achievements and volunteers’ involvements in various events organized by King’s College and external organizers. The ceremony, which took place in King’s hall, was marked with the slogan ”Let Us Celebrate the Achievements of Kingzians Together”.
The session began with a brief overview on the ceremony by Emcees Ajal Tuladhar and Utsah Shrestha. Rinky Singh, a faculty at King’s, formally led the program with an opening speech to acknowledge the active involvement of King’s club, King’s students, and King’s faculty, over a period of past one year. Then, the program marched on towards certificate and prize distribution.
Students were awarded with trophies, medals, and certificates as per their involvements in various events namely; Hamro Utsav, International Conference on Social Entreprenuership, Intra-college Futsal/Basketball/Story Writing Tournaments, Oxy Futsal Championship, Tribhuwan University Basketball/Quiz/Debate Championship, Anterprerana, and Social Business Challenge.
Faculty members Upasna Acharya, Bhawana Shrestha, Arjun Rijal, Krishna Khanal, Kshitiz Gautam, Prateek Raj Neupane, Umes Shrestha, Bikram Prajapati, Chittaranjan Pandey, Sagar Satyal, Pratikshya Sharma, Manisha Bhusal, and Rojina Shrestha did the honors to award students for their excellent performance and representation in the organized events.
The ceremony ended with a closing note by Mr. Umes Shrestha. He said, ”I and the faculty team are proud of you all for your outstanding achievements. You all have performed exceptionally by sticking to the club’s motto ‘Let’s make it Grand’. And I hope you will keep up with this pace and make your involvements even more grand in the future”.
