MBA FAQs

Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of at least three years duration (120 credits) in any discipline are eligible to apply for King’s College MBA Program.

If you have completed the qualifying educational level, you can apply on provisional basis, provided you have already taken the final year/ semester examination and passed all previous year/ semester examinations. 

You must submit your final transcript within one week of admission date. However, even after admission, if you fail to meet King’s/University MBA eligibility requirement or do not submit documents, your admission will be deferred or cancelled. Fees paid once are non-refundable. 

You will complete two assessments during your admissions process:

  • A written statement of purpose
  • A personal interview
  • An entrance examination consisting of analytical essay**

** Entrance exams are not being conducted as a safety precaution against Covid-19.

Yes, you can submit application form online through this form.

The total Admission Test fee (including fee for Application Form) is free of cost.

The selection criteria are based on evaluation of personal statement, interview, your previous academic performance and involvements in extracurricular activities. A written entrance examination will be conducted when situation gets normal.

Yes, anyone can submit the application form. Please make sure that the application form is properly filled, duly signed by the applicant and submitted with required documents on time.

  • Color scanned copy of Nationality certificate English version (for Nepali nationals) or copy of Passport (for foreign nationals). Indian Citizens can submit the Identity Card issued by Embassy of India. 
  • Original scanned copies of educational qualifications (Transcripts, Certificates, and Character Certificate) of highest degree earned. 
  • IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or letter from College stating that you have studied in English medium.

Admission Team will inform you about further steps.

You will be informed about your selection two days after your interview.

MBA programs offered by King’s College are affiliated to Westcliff University, California, approved by the Ministry of Education, Nepal and are recognized as equivalent by TU.

Westcliff University is ACBSP – Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (Global Business Accreditation) and WASC (Senior College and University Commission).

New students can get two types of scholarships: 

  1. Need Based: Academically sound, passionate and objective oriented student from disadvantaged, rural area and economically poor students.
  2. Merit Based: Performance scholarship based on pervious academic percentage, experience/skills, and grade obtained at King’s entrance examination and personal interview.

Students studying at King’s can receive scholarship based on their performance during college trimesters, involvement in extra-curricular activities. 

The degrees offered at King’s College are accredited will be accepted globally as an American degree. Westcliff University is a member of International Association of Universities (IAU).

Yes, you can transfer your credits. However, transfer of credits may be dependent on whether your completed courses match those of your chosen university. Please refer to http://www.westcliff.edu/admissions/transfer-students-policy/ for further information.

We offer various professional development modules beyond credited courses that help you develop skills and build a portfolio around the MBA program you apply for. 

Additionally, you can also engage in various projects with various verticals within King’s such as CERAD (for research), Growth and Innovation Studies (for case writing), DoLAB & Demola (for design thinking and human centered design workshops), CSLP & Center for Community Immersion (for community based projects) and many more. 

Since the start of lock-down, we have been conducting virtual classes. We will resume on-campus classes once the situation allows.
