Short Story Writing Competition
Stories are an inevitable part of our lives. And we are indispensable part of stories. We hear and tell stories from the time we enroll in Kindergarten to the time we become a grandparent. Because every story imparts an intriguing lesson; be it a fairy tale, a superhero saga, a love story or a sci-fi story.
King’s Mentorship team in collaboration with King’s Club is organizing a “Short Story Writing Competition.” It is an intra-college competition that will take place on 19th April, 2017, Wednesday from 9.30 to 10.30 am. The students will have to write their story in an hour, on any one theme that will be given to them. The competition will take place in the Mentorship Room no 505.
We believe that students will have the opportunity to explore and enhance their creative space through this event. And they will also have the opportunity to compete with their own struggles with academic writing. So if you have a story to tell, this is just the right opportunity for you.
Themes: Love or lust, Deception, Coming of Age.
Word Limit: 500-600
Judges: Umes Shrestha, Bhawana Shrestha and Sagar Satyal.
