King’s and SEA Center join hands for Research on Social Entrepreneurship

King’s College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Social Enterprise Activation Center (SEA Center) to conduct a comprehensive research study in the field of Social Entrepreneurship in Nepal.

This research will mainly focus on knowing the condition of Social Entrepreneurship in the country while designing a training curriculum for startup companies, promoting these companies and discussing the paper in different seminars and discussions session.

The major agreements between the two parties are:
• To conduct a research on Social Enterprise and Social Entrepreneurship in Nepal.
• To conduct a research on supporting agencies of social enterprise in Nepal including companies who are not only limited to investing, funding and incubation agencies.
• To compile and publish the final report and present them in the discussion sessions and different seminars.

King’s College focuses on providing quality education and on providing opportunities to the student who can bring positive change in them and to the society with additional learning. And, through this research project, King’s College and its students will also contribute in generating new knowledge in the field of research.
