Faculties and Students of King’s College attended National Consultation Workshop

With cordial invitation by South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment for a National Consultation Workshop on two studies titled “Impact of the Earthquake on Food Security and Livelihood on Urban Poor in Nepal” and “Impact of Climate Change on Agriculture Adaptation Practices and Gender”, with support from Oxfam, two faculties from King’s College, Mr. Chittaranjan Pandey and Ms. Upasna Acharya along with three students namely Nripesh Rajbhandari (MBA), Sushmi Sahani (MBA) and Pranisha Karki (BBA) attended the workshop organized at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu

The objective of the workshop was to disseminate the major findings of the studies and receive feedback to further improve them. The workshop was also paneled and attended by Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada (Vice Chair, National Planning Commission), Dr. Posh Raj Pandey (Trade Expert), Mr. Gopi Khanal (Ministry of Local Development), etc. along with many other experts.
