Simply stated, Flexi-MBA is a flexible delivery of graduate courses. It is designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs. The program incorporates a mix of theory with practical applications and supplements traditional lectures with hands-on case analyses and projects. While the program stays abreast of current trends, they have staying power, too, reflecting the broad, fundamental knowledge on which successful careers are built.
Flexi-MBA program prepares you to make the most of career-building opportunities available to you. Starting with your first course, you plan what you want to get out of the program and how you will apply it. This focus on career outcomes continues throughout the program.
Program Objective
The program will help the students develop the skills required to evaluate business opportunities, create new ventures, and foster innovation. Additionally, it will hone their problem-solving and decision-making skills and explore the differences between managing start-ups versus large organizations. Analyze organizational development theories and change models currently being employed in organizations.

Students will explore the practical knowledge, strategy, and skills needed to plan for the legal issues, marketing, and the basic four functions of management involved in a new business, product, or service launch. Students will practice, in a team environment, all the initial steps involved in the entrepreneurial process to achieve success.

Students will learn about the basic four functions of management as they apply to the small business environment. They will learn the strategies and processes that small businesses employ to manage for success in today’s environment. Nonprofit and for-profit small businesses will be examined. Students will apply strategies and practices through a virtual practicum to a startup business. Decision making and adaptability in the small business environment will be stressed.
Admission Requirements:

  •   Prior education: The University requires evidence of an earned bachelor degree in business, management, or administration or in any equivalent field.
  •   Professional experience: Submit a resume or Curriculum Vita (CV) and recommends a minimum of two years of full-time professional work experience.
  •   Written communication skills. Submit an essay that includes current personal, intellectual and professional interests and why the applicant is applying to the degree program at King's.
  •   Information technology. Posses computer and internet skills sufficient to effectively participate in King's pedagogical model and conduct research at the master level.


Graduation Requirements

  •     Students must complete the prescribed curriculum within five years.
  •     Satisfactory completion of all required course work with a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  •     Internship program of minimum of eight weeks.
  •     Thesis or project work


Duration
Thirty months

Time:
This program is executed generally three days a week in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. However, as the name itself suggests it is flexible in terms of timing.

Eligibility
Minimum of 3 years' Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of one year relevant experience. It is mandatory to produce documentary evidence of work experience.
Certification/Degree
Candidates successfully completing the program will be awarded a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) from International American University, USA.

Examination

40% of the total evaluation is done through a continuous in-semester assessment and for the rest 60% there will be four-hour long final exams of 100 marks in each subject except for the capstone course.
